What is an entry level membership?
Entry level membership has been introduced to encourage riders to join equestrian sport. It is applicable to riders riding in the lowest level of their chosen discipline. If one of the disciplines you compete in is higher than entry level, then you have to pay the full SAEF fees.
Showjumping | Up to 70cm, no graded SASJ members to be entry level |
Equitation | Pony Rider Welcome, Junior Welcome and Adult Welcome |
Dressage | Novice & Prelim Classes, no graded DSA riders to be entry level |
Showing | SASA Riding Horse Classes, as per the Section 62 of the SASA Rules, Strictly Come Showing & Newcomers Classes. |
Eventing | 65 – 75cm Level |
Mounted Games | 1. Lead Rein
2. Trotting Only 3. Non-Vaulting |
Western Mounted Games | Level 0 |
Tentpegging | Novice Rider, first timers Junior /Senior only for first year |

Payments can be made via EFT or with Payfast via the SAEF online system
